Andi Weigand represents the third generation of winemakers in his family. He took over the management of the family estate in 2015 and began its conversion to organic farming in 2018. His vineyards are located on the typical marl and gypsum soils of the area, which give the wines minerality, freshness, and spicy notes. Andi has a great appreciation for Silvaner and considers it the most underrated grape variety in Germany.
