Colombaia

The estate was founded in the 1970s in Colle Val d’Elsa, when the Lomazzi family restored an abandoned farmstead and expanded the vineyard attached to it, which dates back to the 1700s. Since 2003, the estate has been managed by Dante and his wife Helena. The farmhouse and winery are located at the heart of the hill and are surrounded by 4 hectares of vineyards. The wines are made in underground concrete vats, which allow for natural temperature control, while ageing, lasting between 18 and 24 months, takes place in large Slavonian oak casks.
