Raphaël Saint-Cyr represents the fourth generation of a family of winegrowers and today leads Domaine Saint-Cyr, founded by his great-grandfather Pierre in 1949. After taking over the estate in 2008, he transformed the domaine by introducing certified organic viticulture across its 23 hectares, with deep respect for the soil and biodiversity. Raphaël follows a natural and minimalist winemaking approach, using indigenous yeasts, ageing in old barrels, and vinifying individual parcels separately to highlight the character of each terroir. The domaine mainly produces Gamay (Beaujolais, Morgon, Moulin-à-Vent), along with a few white wines such as Sauvage Blanc, all marked by purity, freshness, and authenticity.
