Fabio Gea

Fabio Gea is a winemaker based in Neive, in the Langhe, renowned for his radical, experimental, and deeply ethical approach to viticulture and winemaking. A trained geologist, he farms small vineyard parcels —primarily in the Barbaresco appellation— using natural and regenerative practices: no synthetic chemicals, minimal intervention, and unconventional vessels such as ceramic amphorae, glass, and concrete for fermentation and aging. He also often bottles his wines in handcrafted bottles. His winemaking is driven by both scientific curiosity and environmental awareness, with the aim of allowing each wine to express the character of the soil and the vine as directly and authentically as possible.
