Daniel Sage began making wine as a self-taught winemaker in 2011, but he soon became an iconic figure in the wine world. The estate he runs with Jordi Torgue works with small parcels, often on very steep slopes. The varieties are diverse: Gamay, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Chardonnay and Viognier, producing consistently small quantities of wines of great character. Alongside spontaneous fermentations and a complete absence of filtration, a creative flair often leads to the creation of unusual and surprising blends.
