Maison Valette

For three generations, the Valette family has lived in Chaintré, on the border between the Mâconnais and Beaujolais regions, where they cultivate 15 hectares of Chardonnay spread across five villages. After his oenological training, Philippe Valette converted the vineyards to organic and biodynamic farming as early as 1992, working the land with full respect for its natural balance. In the cellar, he practices spontaneous fermentations and long ageing, with no shortcuts or invasive interventions. His wines, authentic and vibrant, express with purity the character of mature Mâconnais Chardonnay, combining depth and freshness.
