Luis’s project began in 2017 with the restoration of old vineyards in Óbidos, a small DOC region in the Lisbon area. Today, the estate comprises 4 hectares of vineyards ranging from 55 to 130 years old, divided into 8 parcels on limestone soils of the Jurassic plateau. From the very beginning, he has adopted organic and biodynamic farming practices, also helped by the complete isolation in which his vineyards are located. Luis is the first Portuguese winegrower to become part of the Augusta family.
