Pierre lives in Husseren-les-Châteaux, one of the highest villages on the western side of Colmar, and began his winemaking journey a few years ago by restoring many small parcels inherited from his grandfather. In total, he cultivates less than 4 hectares of vineyards on the steep slopes surrounding his home. Although it does not appear on his labels, almost half of his vineyards are planted on soils classified as Grand Cru.
