Yann Durieux embarked on his own winemaking venture in 2010, acquiring a 2.5-hectare vineyard in Villers-la-Faye, near Nuits-Saint-Georges, in Burgundy. After travelling across various parts of Europe, he returned to his homeland and began working alongside producers such as Julien Guillot, before joining the prestigious Domaine Prieuré Roch. Over the course of ten years there, he deepened his knowledge of the region’s key grape varieties, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Aligoté, while developing an increasingly profound connection with the local terroir and its distinctive characteristics. This sensitivity is reflected in his wines, authentic expressions of the land, distinguished by their purity, finesse, freshness and elegance.
