Located in Lestein, in the heart of Styria, Franz Strohmeier lives in a true corner of paradise, in complete harmony with nature. Most of his vines are planted on incredibly steep slopes made of hard gneiss and schist. Sincerity, care, and humility are the key words behind his work: in the vineyard, through the minimal use of treatments and a deep attention to observing nature; in the wines, through their unmistakable character of vibrant acidity and freshness.
