Other Ferments

Altri fermenti are those who contribute to talking about wine, agriculture and craftsmanship through different languages and alternative point of views.

Artisans, artists, friends who share our values and contribute to creating the image of the fair with their colours, flavours and atmosphere.

Gianluca Cannizzo

Augusta art director, is a multidisciplinary artist who has become one of the best Italian and international representatives of natural wine language and image: his posters and his colourful and dreamlike labels have been characterising the wine and food world for more than ten years. Augusta owns him its shape, guise, colours and the way of expressing itself. During the fair you will find him at his Mypostersucks stand.

Bookshop by Luxemburg

We can understand and quench our thirst for wine also through books, the words of others, illustrations and pictures. This is why, together with Gigi from the Luxemburg bookshop in Turin we have put together an eclectic selection of independent books and magazines on wine, but also on food, gardening, environment, photography and much more.

Amore Liquido

Amore Liquido is a new research, import and distribution project focused on no/low alcohol products and innovative alcoholic products, created by Tommaso Vergano and Alessio Boggero. They will be present at Augusta with a space that represents both the classic tasting counter and a bazaar, to offer two days of tastings and discussions with restaurant owners, professionals and the public.

Littlewine

The first winemaker-led platform from around the world, created by Christina Rasmussen, Daniela Pillhofer and Peter Honegger. LW is a digital tool that allows winemakers to communicate globally and at the same time provides professionals (sommeliers, importers and retailers) with information about wineries, their wines and their vineyards given directly by winemakers. At Augusta, LITTLEWINE will help us bring producers closer to the public, but also wine closer to agriculture.

BATNA

At Augusta we will welcome also our friends from BATNA – Best Alternative To Nude Attitude – with their selection of handmade workwear. Batna was born in Turin in 2011 at the end of their studies at the Accademia Albertina di Belle Arti – Academy of Fine Arts – and over the years they were driven by the idea of creating clothing, in the most radical sense of the word: designing and creating garments to be worn all day and every day. In these last years, Giulia and Arianna have revolutionised the workwear by combining fashion with the practicality and the comfort of styles and fabrics, especially within the field of catering and experimenting also with workwear for winegrowers and farmers.
